Music and entertainment

Folk music was a hobby in the late '70's, which gradually turned itself into a business over the years. Bookings tend to be in the evening, and usually on a Saturday, so it has been possible to combine this with normal 9 to 5 weekday work for admin / book keeping / business advice clients. It's all great fun as well, and who says work has to be boring?

But it is also not the easiest area to make money in ("How do you make £1M from folk music? Start with £2M...", "What do you call a musician without a girlfriend? Homeless..."). It took quite a bit of effort to make it all happen, and the experience gained can now be passed on to clients.
